| September 4, 2009 Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord!!! Greetings, Everyone! I have the most wonderful news to share! Just as promised, I am keeping you all posted on the situation. As you will remember in the update below from May 18th, our ministry van was no longer usable to transport us around to concerts. We have been using personal vehicles to get to our concert dates. This can take anywhere from 2 to 3 cars. In the mean time we have shared with many our desire for a motor home that is dependable and sleeps six people. As many of you also know, being in ministry there are not a lot of extra funds to purchase such rigs as a motor home. However, the prayer request continued to go out (as we know there is NOTHING too big for God!). We know many of you have been praying very diligently that the Lord would provide us with one, so we could be self sufficient on the road and basically have a "home away from home". We are ever so grateful for your prayers and wanted to let you all know that God is still in the business of answering them. Below is "Journey Home's" "home away from home". |

| February 26, 2010 Hello Everyone, The last few days here in Northern New England have been interesting weather wise that's for sure! One minute it's snowing , the next it's raining . Then of course there's the sleet and freezing rain in between. Gotta love New England!! Today being a bit of a "slower" day , I decided it was time to update everyone on the many happening's with the Journey Home crew as people always seem to care and find the time to check in with us to see how we are doing and what everyone is up to. Thanks to all of you that send your love on a continual basis. You are all a blessing!! Where do I begin? Well as most of you know God answered such a big prayer when He provided our motor home for us.(see pic below) What an unbelievable blessing! We are still in awe!! With that there are a few stories that go with having a rig this size for the first time. God definitely has a sense of humor, and although there have been a few mishaps in getting used to our new "home" on wheels, God's guiding hand has seen us through a few bumps. ;-) In between all that we have our first grandchild on the way. WooooHoooooo!!!! Hannah and Chris are having a baby girl in June. Her name is "Emma Linn" and as you can well imagine we are so excited and feel incredibly blessed! Both parents and baby are doing great! In January we had a wedding! Yup, Lucas and Kellie were married on the 30th. What a beautiful wedding it was. The Newlyweds are doing super. What an answer to prayer and a blessing that God brought these two together. It's quite a story and one you can ask the happy couple about when you see them. We are waiting for all the pics to come back, but here is one of my favorites. ( Lucas singing to Kellie) Many have been asking about a third album for J.H. for a while now. I am happy to let you all know that we are beginning our new album right off. As many of you also know it takes a lot of funds and time so please pray that God would provide as we rely on Him for all our needs! I'll try to keep everyone posted as to the progress of it! I think that is pretty much it for now. As always we covet your prayers as we begin our concert year. Please pray for souls to come to Christ and encouragement for the believers as well. We hope to see you at a concert this year and pray for God's blessing's in your life! In His Care, Jody Linn |
